Project Mars 500

Project “Mars-500” is carried out by the state scientific center of the Russian Federation - by institute of biomedical problems RAN [Russian Academy of Science] under the aegis Of [roskosmosa] and Russian Academy of Sciences. A number of the experiments, which imitate these or other aspects of the interplanetary manned space flight, enters into it. A series of experiments on the prolonged isolation of crew under the conditions of the specially created ground-based experimental complex is basis.
